Intensive Surfcamps in Galicia May 2023

Surf fantastic waves in a beautiful setting & improve with every session

#GarfioGallego

On a surf quest in Galicia

Once more we are returning to the stunning shores of Northwest Spain.

The sheer variety of waves, sunshine and great vibes lure us back to run two intensive surfcoaching camps in Galicia in 2023. Choose between a one or two week camp, according to your timeframe and paddle endurance, and find out about garfios and pirates.

29/04 - 13/05/2023: Intensive Surfcoaching Camp (fully booked)

Progress your surfing enormously in two weeks. Our intensive surfcamp is a combination of one daily surf coaching and one free surf session per day. In the professional surf coaching session, we will work on your technique, positioning and help you improve your surfing and wave count. In the free surf session, you can implement your feedback to further develop your skills.

The mixture of our coaching expertise and the variety of surf spots for all conditions that Galicia has to offer, create the perfect environment to level up your surfing while having tons of fun.

20/05 - 27/05/2023: Intensive Surfcoaching Camp (fully booked)

For those surfers you really want to push their surfing quickly. During this one week surfcamp you will benefit from constructional surfcoaching and freesurf time to implement and try out what you have learned.

We will explore different spots together with our local guides Ramon and Josh, giving you the possibility to adapt to different waves and situations.  Daily we will bring you to the perfect spot: best local conditions for your surf level. You will be motivated in the water with direct feedback in the water, so you can override habitual mistakes or implement better techniques into your surfing.

Accomondation & Food

What your home in Galicia looks like

For both trips, we will meet in Santiago de Compostela. We recommend arriving a day early to explore the city – the end of the way of St. James for all pilgrims. There, we will pick you up and bring you to our home in a surf town in West Galicia.

The house is a classical Galician stone house, with a garden and perfect sunset view. The house has two kitchens and two bathrooms spread over two floors, enough space in case you want some me time. In the living room and garden, there are plenty of options to sit down in good company, drink some beer & wine and play a round of table football on the kicker.

You’ll stay in shared twin rooms. If this is not for you, you can also book a single room for an additional fee.

Every day, our chef treats you to a nutritious power breakfast and a delicious re-energizing dinner. Yum! Your food will be mostly vegan but with an option for meat/fish.
