Our Surf Trips to Galicia in May 2022#GaliciaV
Our 5 year anniversary surf trip to Galicia
We’re so excited to announce that 2022 will be the 5th time we are running our surf camps in Galicia!
For the special occasion, we have planned a special program for experienced surfers. According to your own wishes, you can join one or both of our surf trips and enjoy an extraordinary surf holiday with us in the North-West of Spain.

30.04. - 14.05.2022: Intensive Surfcoaching Camp
Progress your surfing enormously in two weeks. Our intensive Surfcamp is a combination of one daily surf coaching and one free surf session per day. In the professional surf coaching session, we will work on your technique, positioning and help you improve your surfing and wave count. In the free surf session, you can implement your feedback to further develop your skills.
The mixture of our coaching expertise and the variety of surf spots for all conditions that Galicia has to offer, create the perfect environment to level up your surfing while having tons of fun.

15. - 29.05.2021: All you can Surf Surfari
Let’s surf all day every day! On our AYCS-Trip through Galicia, we will explore different spots together with our local guides Ramon and Josh. The goal is to surf as much as possible every day. We will guide you daily to the perfect spot: best local conditions for your surf level. We will motivate you with direct feedback in the water, so you can override habitual mistakes or implement better techniques into your surfing.
The goal is to spend all day long at the ocean. Together with a group of likeminded people, having a great time in the water and just coming back home to eat and sleep (and a game of futbolín of course).

The idea of our surfcoaching trips is to really improve your surfing. At the beginning of the trip, we set your individual goals which we will focus on for the week. This intensive surfcoaching trip will boost your surfing to the next level (or two). Loads of watertime through daily coaching session and freesurf, supported by out of the water surftheory, video analysis and surfskate sessions.
Even though we surf as a group of max. 6, surfcoach Angie will teach each of you individually. This includes assesssment of your surfing level, setting fixed goals, explaining drills and exercises, coaching in and outside of the water, demonstrating and explaining.

Is this trip for me?
The trip will be run as a 14-days Intensive Surfcamp. On each day, we will coach you individually within the group and head for a free surf session later, so expect your surfing to improve immensely. We use direct & indirect coaching techniques, in and outside of the water.
With two sessions per day, this trip is only for people who really want to focus on their surfing. There won’t be a lot of free time left for other activities, especially since we will also go on day trips to the North of Spain or Portugal when the waves are good.
This NOMB Surfcoaching trip is open to surflevel 2-5, so experienced beginners and up.

The idea behind the AYCS Weeks
Explore a new surf destination in great company, with local guides showing and explaining the spots. That’s the main essence of our All You Can Surf Surfari in Galicia. For two weeks, we want to do pretty much nothing else, but surf from dusk till dawn, from the south to the north of Galicia (and maybe northern Portugal, depending on the conditions). Instead of having to discover everything on your own and be at the wrong spot at the wrong time, we will bring you directly to the best spot for the day, as well as create a group of likeminded people who share your stoke.
At the end of the day, we will come back to our galician home and talk about our best waves while sharing dinner before falling into bed happy and exhausted. Surf – Eat – Sleep – Repeat.
As at least two surf coaches join you for each session, you will also receive feedback and suggestions to improve your technique and positioning to enhance your wave count if you’re up for it. If you’d rather just surf and have someone cheer for you, we’re up for that, too.

Is this trip for me?
Do you want to surf, surf, surf? All day, every day, and do nothing else for two weeks? Then this trip is for you. The all you can surf trip is not a surf coaching trip. While we guide you to different spots in Galicia, explain each spot, help you with the positioning and will give you feedback on your technique when needed, we will not coach you in detail. Instead this trip is about surfing in good company and without the hustle to find out where on your own.
This NOMB Surfcoaching trip is open to surflevel 3-5, intermediate upwards. You should bring enough experience to paddle out in a safe spot confidently and aim at taking green waves.
- Surf Time 100%
- Free Time 0%
- Minimum Surflevel 40%

What your home in Galicia looks like

For both trips, we will meet in Santiago de Compostela. We recommend arriving a day early to explore the city – the end of the way of St. James for all pilgrims. There, we will pick you up and bring you to our home in a surf town in West Galicia.
The house is a classical galician stone house, with a garden and perfect sunset view. To not get in each others way, the house has two kitchens and two bathrooms on two floors, so enough space in case you want to be on your own for a while. In the living room and garden, there’s plenty of options to sit down in good company, drink some beer & wine and play a round of table football on the kicker.
You’ll stay in shared twin rooms. If this is not for you, you can also book a single room for an additional fee.
On each day, our chef will treat you to a nutritious power breakfast and a delicious re-energizing dinner. Yum!
